Transhumanism is still very much a minority sport.

This is a snappy take on the transhumanist mission to merge man with machines and thereby transcend our human nature. Part philosophy, part religion, part road-trip, the one thing it is not is technical. We are still miles away from fulfilling the transhumanist dream, so there is virtually nothing technical to write about. One area that remained unexplored was the competing vision of artificial general intelligence or even artificial superintelligence. Should we aim to become merged with machine or partnered with machine?
