A worthy introduction to the vexed question of AI ethics.

Dignum’s book lists the areas we need to explore when designing good AI. It is a comprehensive list, which is helpful. We need to know what we need to consider. But she does not explore what some of the answers might look like. Nor does she really look in a practical way at how we might as a society arrive at some of these answers. Ironically, we might have to make use of AI to assist us. AI ethics is still in its infancy.
