AI for beginners

There tends to be two types of book on AI. One type tells you how it works, which can be quite technical. It is worth noting that it does not have to be if it remains at the conceptual level. The other type tells you what it can and cannot do. Wilks’ book is of the second type. It is an accessible read and will not take long. He also throws in a number of broader considerations for the future. These include ethics and risks.
